New Version Of EHS Notification and Registration Scheme posted on 02 Mar 2010
A new version for the on-line EHS Notification and Registration System has been successfully developed and already available in the EHS website. The new system is similar to the previous one but has been enhanced with the following additions and changes:
- Option for Malaysian importers to request overseas suppliers to make detailed notification of EHS
- A module for overseas suppliers to undertake detailed notification of EHS on behalf of Malaysian importers, with login using user ID and password after nomination by Malaysian companies
- Change in data entry format during detailed notification of EHS – from the existing left right format to a top down format
- Option to select hazard classes based on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the Malaysian Classification, Packaging and Labeling (CPL) during the detailed notification of EHS
- Provision for industry to report different GHS hazard classification for chemicals on EHS Reference List during basic notification of EHS

Is your company an importer of EHS or an importer of chemical mixtures or finished chemical products containing EHS as their constituents?
Is your company a product manufacturer, importing EHS to be used in the manufacturing process?
